Meagan And Ozzie
I remember reaching out to Meagan almost a year ago when I saw her inquiry with the exact same details: “We would like pictures of us getting dressed, our wedding party walking down the aisle, a lot of candid moments, and as many pictures as possible so we can look back at all the moments we might not have seen.” Videographer: “We want the whole ceremony recorded, from our guests entering as well as our bridal party entering, speeches, and anything sentimental.”And the word “sentiments” stayed with me the whole time. I also did their engagement shoot, and I got to know them personally. That session was so fun; we had crazy sunlight and then rain at the same time. We all know Ontario’s weather, right! I tried to capture the love in the chaos, and it came out beautifully.
And here comes the wedding day. Though I wanted to go to the rehearsal, I couldn’t make it at the last minute. Here I am at Meagan’s place with my videographer, and my other team is at Ozzie’s place. Both places were so emotionally charged, with so many tears of joy. And you know me, I love to capture emotions. Meagan’s mom and dad were crying, but her brother was trying to tease her and keep a smile on Meagan’s face. I think we all have that relationship with our siblings, The One!
With two beautiful bridesmaids @c.x.r._xoxo , who were constantly helping Meg with her makeup and other needs. Bridal party images came out so good, with so many emotions. And on the other hand, at Ozzie’s place, the same thing was happening with the same emotions.
And now we are at @ascottparc, the venue, and here comes Ozzie with tears in his eyes. And again, he’s crying when Meg’s walking down the aisle. That’s such a treat for a candid photographer, and there are vows, such a dreamy moment for everyone just looking at them as they make their next huge step together! And the reception was filled with crazy dancing and emotional first dances. I am not close friends with Meg and Ozzie, but I know them. I think being a wedding photographer is not only about capturing the moments but also knowing when they’re going to happen.
