Courtney and John’s Aurora Farm Wedding – Horses, Wildflowers, and a Nature-Inspired Celebration
Courtney and John’s wedding in Aurora, Ontario was a beautiful blend of rustic charm, natural landscapes, and heartfelt moments. They chose us as their wedding photographer because of our background in wildlife photography—a style that focuses on natural light, real emotion, and capturing unscripted moments. Their wedding day was the perfect setting for this approach, surrounded by open fields, horses, ponies, and warm countryside light.
The day began with a romantic ceremony at Our Lady of Grace Church, one of Aurora’s most loved wedding locations. With over 100 guests filling the pews, the couple exchanged vows in a space filled with soft light and timeless beauty. After the ceremony, we travelled to their private farm, where the celebrations continued among tall trees, golden fields, and the couple’s own horses.
Photographing Courtney and John on their farm was a highlight of the day. Their horses wandered freely around them, creating candid, intimate, and truly unique wedding photos that reflect who they are and how they live. This natural setting allowed for relaxed portraits, authentic emotions, and the kind of storytelling that only an outdoor farm wedding in Ontario can offer.
Their reception took place under a beautifully decorated tent filled with wildflowers, personal details, speeches, and a lively dance floor. From sunset photos with the horses to the emotional moments shared with family and friends, every part of their day showcased the beauty of an outdoor farm wedding in the GTA.
This Aurora wedding is a perfect example of how wildlife-inspired photography blends seamlessly with rustic, nature-focused celebrations.
